Summary:
The Ojo-Verde Gold-Copper mine is a 100 hectare concession. The Ojo Verde mine is located along the western frontal rage of the Neovolcanic Axis Metallogenic Province of Mexico which is in this area characterized by a 600-100 metre thick sequence of Tertiary volcaniclastic and sub-volcanic rocks of intermediate to felsic composition. The sequence has been intruded by granodiorites that generated polymetallic deposits of silver, lead, zinc, copper and gold.

Location and Access:
Jalisco, Mexico.

Description:
Topography, and lithochemical evidence suggest that the geology of the area within the Ojo Verde concession is consistent with highly faulted terrain hosting a volcanic porphyry. The principal showing on the claim block is the old Ojo Verde mine. The mine sites amidst spectacular topography with leached copper green staining along the face of the mine entrance. Small adits have been driven at various levels over an elevation of approximately one hundred meters. The width of the central mineralized zone is greater than thirty meters.

The 350? trending mesotectonic fault and feeder fissure cross-cut strongly faulted and disrupted stratigraphy. Gangue minerals include: quartz and quartz/vent breccia, chlorite, chalcopyrite, bomite and pyrite. Evidence suggest that mineralized zones may be from the central to upper part of the precious metals section of the boiling zone model found in many mesothermal mineral deposits.

Evidence suggest that the Ojo Verde prospect host a significant mineralized zone, found to be consistent with that which occurs in a volcanic type porphyry setting. The fissures and/or vent(s) dimensions are still unknown yet evidence suggest that the deposit may have a significant size.

Geology:
At the Central showing, mineralization has been faulted and displaced by a east-west trending structure. Near this contact the system was sampled. Chip sampling along various intervals returned some all metal values in terms of gold of 6.71 grams per tonne gold over 8 meters along one section and 13.88 grams per tonne gold over 10 meters along another. The highest gold value found inside the level two adit, approximately 10 meters towards a more central part of the system returned 39.22 grams per tonne over two meters. Generally silver content was very weak, and where copper assayed greater than one percent, gold was found to grade greater than ten grams per tonne.

History:
Historically gold and silver mining has taken place in several locations throughout the Ojo Verde concession. No production records are available. Within a few hundred meters of the old workings, numerous large arrastrans (mining sites) can be found adjacent to the Caracol river. Judging from their size and number the area realized considerable production for the time.
