Position Description:

Accountable for planning and implementation of Barrick Nevada Technology & Systems (BNV TAS) projects with deliverables (time, budget, scope) on target at Barrick Nevada Sites. Includes setting and maintaining TAS project management standards, monitoring project portfolio and assisting other project managers with planning and management duties.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure implementation and adoption of BNV TAS projects

• Ensure opportunities identified for implementation achieve target objectives and performance metrics

• Manage roll out of BNV TAS projects and ensure on-time delivery

• Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to senior management on a regular basis

• Work with the BNV TAS Department to develop the agreed Project Implementation Plan through interactions with stakeholders, defining the project milestones and deliverables

• Work closely with Barrick Nevada operation managers to define the future state of BNV TAS projects and to communicate to drive adoption of project outcomes to achieve desired benefits

• Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of personnel

• Assist BNV Communications team on project communications planning and other change management activities

• Demonstrate comfort in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift frequently

• Have ability to work with cross functional teams

• Possess exceptional organization and time management skills

• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Two (2) year or four (4) year technical degree, engineering degree, or degree in an analytical field, and/or certification preferred.

• PMI certification or equivalent qualification or experience highly desirable.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management required.

• Experience managing project scope, quality, resources, work plans, risks and schedule required.

• Mining experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of project management techniques.

• Experience negotiating with and managing contractors.

This position is located within Barrick Nevada and assigned to a specific site directed by the BNV TAS Site Leader. Travel between BNV sites as required.
