Barrick Nevada is looking for a Dewatering Shift Supervisor to join the Cortez Operations team. The Dewatering Shift Supervisor will supervise the dewatering crew in routine and extraordinary maintenance and repair operations.
Maintain many well field sites within the region and their associated equipment.
Liaise and maintain good communications with other members of the Dewatering Department and Mine Superintendent to develop a unified team.
Ensure compliance with applicable environmental permits.
Responsible for a safe and clean work environment.
Manage dewatering crews to complete tasks in safe and efficient manner

Maintain Well Fields
Maintain Dewatering Lines
1+ years experience with well fields, pumps, etc. required
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. required
Taste and smell a change in environment odors. required
Hear sufficiently to distinguish various pitches of warning alarms. required
Must be able to withstand exposure to heat and cold. Required

Barrick Nevada is an integrated gold mining operation that combines the Cortez and Goldstrike properties in Nevada, employing a total of 3,000 employees and 800 contractors. The operation utilizes both open pit and underground mining methods with Autoclave and Roaster processing facilities at Goldstrike and Milling/Heap Leaching facilities at Cortez.
