Position Description:
Barrick Nevada’s Shared Business Center (SBC) is looking for an HR Services Inquiries Specialist to join their team.
The HR Services Inquiry Specialist acts as the font-line to HR Services, and uses Knowledge Management and experience to provide core process / policy inquiry management and resolution (e.g., the “Top 150” questions for core compensation, separation, data administration, new hire onboarding, corporate/regional policies/programs, etc.). The Inquiry Specialist will escalate complex inquiries to the appropriate parties such as the Transaction – HR Specialist, or the Inquiry & Transaction, Lead. Key responsibilities of the Inquiry Representative includes the documenting, handling and resolution of customer inquiries and requests.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that incoming inquiries are answered in an efficient manner
Deliver accurate customer answers and build effective relationships with customer
Escalate / redirect contacts where guidance or clarification of policies and procedures as required
Document inquiries with accurate classification and resolution action
Support guidance on workflow of direct access transactions based on policies and guidelines in cases where assistance is required
Enter inquires and subsequent resolutions into appropriate enabling technology system(s) (e.g., case management etc.)
Flag where Knowledge Management systems need to be updated with content to help with future inquiry resolution and / or employee and manager direct access
Promote the customer experience and increase satisfaction through efficient and courteous service
Perform other duties as assigned
