A Canadian Original Company with a mine life of almost 100 years at its flagship operating mine is currently looking to add experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics to their teams in Manitoba.

Reporting to the maintenance supervisor, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance, diagnostics, complete tear downs, rebuilds and more on above and below ground off-road mining equipment. You will be comfortable working both above and below ground and have the flexibility to work shift work. Depending on mine location you could be working either a 5-4-4-5-5-5 or a 4-4 plus OT.

This company pays a good base wage plus night shift premiums, weekend premiums, annual profit sharing, a location premium for one of their mine s and mine bonuses. They also offer a comprehensive benefits package and a relocation package for the successful Heavy Duty Mechanic and their family.

Starting wage is dependent on qualifications. If you have your Manitoba Certification or Red Seal as an Off-Road Heavy Duty Mechanic you will start at a higher hourly rate.
