Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor you will be required to install, test, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain all types of mining and processing equipment. Underground experience is considered an asset.
In this job, you should be able to read electrical prints and safely troubleshoot electrical circuits. Experience with troubleshooting PLC’s, high voltage cable splicing and the set-up of various electrical devices is a definite asset.
Depending on location (there are different processing mills and underground sites), there are two shifts available:
– 5-4-5-5-4-5 schedule with 11.5 hour shifts
– Steady days, weekends off, 8 hour shifts to start (there may be a possibility to go to shift work at some point in time)
