Barrick Nevada is an integrated gold mining operation that combines the Cortez and Goldstrike properties in Nevada, employing a total of 3,000 employees and 800 contractors. The operation utilizes both open pit and underground mining methods.

Position Description:

Barrick is looking for an Underground Mobile Maintenance Technician to join our Barrick Nevada Cortez team.

Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain a fleet of underground mining equipment including loaders, haul trucks, bolters, support equipment and various other mobile equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Three (3) years of experience with underground mobile equipment preferred

• Consistent work history required

• Excellent attendance and safety record required

• Willingness to learn and work daily with underground mobile mining equipment required

• Possess own personal hand tools required

• Willingness and ability to work in a team-based environment and portray a positive work attitude required

• Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, team-oriented and work with minimum supervision required
