(IDEX Online News) – Russian miner ALROSA has announced the recovery of 121.96-carat from its Jubilee Pipe. The stone was extracted by the company’s Aikhal Mining and Processing Division (MPD).
The diamond is octahedral in shape, with dimensions of 31.28 x 30.00 x 28.57mm. The crystal of “2 Black Sawables 3 colour” quality is transparent with moderate yellowish hue.
Several large diamonds have been recovered from the Jubilee Pipe, including a 106-carat diamond in December and a 103-carat stone in October.
