Central-Eastern New Mexico Ranch & Development Land to Sell at Auction

DENVER–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Eligible buyers will soon have the opportunity to purchase a diverse ranch mixed with state lease and deeded land in central-eastern New Mexico. Mason & Morse Ranch Company and United Country – Dynasty Auction & Realty will offer the Ute Lake Ranch, consisting of 23,000± acres with Ute Lake Reservoir frontage, ample water supply for cattle and a variety of terrains, as well as a development parcel to the public during a live auction event on Friday, Feb. 19.

The event will feature five separate parcel options during this one-day event.

Tract #1: Located on the north side, consisting of rolling hills with cedar trees and a few mesquite with large flats and arroyos. This land has not been grazed in over a year and had over 25 inches of rain last summer so the grass is in excellent condition. It is well watered with six windmills, two submergible pumps and has access to the Ute Lake Reservoir. Also has an updated set of pens at the headquarters with a processing barn. Tract #1 consists of approximately 14,807 total acres (6,136 +/- deeded acres and 8,671 +/- acres state lease).

Tract #2a: Located on the south side, consisting of good grass to operate a cattle operation. This tract is watered with dirt tanks, and has access to the Ute Lake Reservoir. Tract #2a consists of approximately 4,951 acres (2,844 +/- deeded acres and 2,108 +/- acres state lease).

Tract #2b: Located on the south side, consisting of good grass this tract is all under one fence watered by a submergible well with pipeline to water tanks. Tract #2b consists of approximately 2,582 acres (1,136 +/- deeded acres and 1,446 +/- acres state lease).

Tract #3: Located on the east side, Tract #3 consists of 722 +/- deeded acres. This is an investment property with lake access or to run cattle with the proximity of the golf course and the unloading dock. Would be a good place for boat storage on the south side of this tract.

Tract #4: At approximately 158 acres, this development parcel has an approved platted 44-lot subdivision, each lot ranging from 1.5-5 acres, with pedestrian lake access to the Ute Lake Reservoir. This lakeside ranch style living is approved inventory for a developer to start selling immediately.
