World No 1 copper exporter Chile is expected to produce 5.74-million tonnes of the metal in 2016, a 0.5% decrease from a year earlier, state copper commission Cochilco said on Thursday.
Next year, copper output is expected to increase 3.1% to 5.92-million tonnes.
