Construction of Quebec’s only diamond mine was at the end of May 96% complete, builder Stornoway Diamond Corp reported on Monday, stating that all critical path activities continued well within the planned schedule for first ore delivered to the plant by the end of September and commercial production by the end of December.
The TSX-listed project developer noted that construction was ahead of schedule when compared with the the recently re-baselined plan of 90% (and the initial plan of 82%).
