BURLINGTON, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Mint Energy, an electric supplier that brings an innovative, prompt and honest approach to customers’ energy needs, has recently launched a new component of its sales strategy. The company is now providing its products to smaller commercial and industrial customers via its website (www.mintenergy.net). Customers may enroll online starting today.
Mint Energy’s first online offering is available to commercial and industrial customers in Massachusetts’ National Grid territory that are classified under the G1 business rate class. Customers can enroll in a program that includes a fixed electricity rate which is 30% lower than the corresponding current Basic Service rate. Mint’s rate is 8.9 cents per kWh until the customer’s December meter read. This compares very favorably to National Grid’s G1 Basic Service rate, which is set at 12.619¢ per kWh until April 30, 2016.
Electricity can be a significant and rapidly fluctuating cost component for small businesses, and the savings realized by switching to Mint Energy could be substantial. According to the Energy Information Administration, in 2014 Massachusetts businesses consumed an average of 5,450 kWh per month*. A customer with that usage level would save over $200 per month from now through April 30th 2016 by switching to competitive supply from Mint Energy. Customers with higher usage could save even more.
Enrollment in Mint’s National Grid program has been consolidated and streamlined online at http://www.mintenergy.net/ma/, making it easy for customers to switch. The new process is also fully aligned with Mint’s customer care capabilities and process which provides a friendly, competent and efficient experience.
Mint Energy urges Massachusetts businesses to take action as soon as possible if they are interested in the online offering. However should customers require a product designed specifically to their needs, Mint Energy customer service staff is available to work directly with the customer at firstname.lastname@example.org or 1-844-624-MINT. Mint Energy offers many pricing opportunities that allow businesses to take full advantage of the restructured electricity markets.
