Australia’s largest iron-ore miner Rio Tinto is on track to ship 330-million tonnes from its mines in the Pilbara this year, with 158.9-million tonnes having been sold in the first six months of the year.
The half-year performance was 8% better than a year earlier, Rio Tinto reported in its second-quarter production report on Tuesday.
