The consortium seeking to develop the Horse Hill oil and gas project, near the Gatwick Airport, is hoping to receive approval from the Surrey County Council for long-term production testing and the drilling of more wells later this year.
Horse Hill Developments Limited (HHDL), which owns 65% of the licences comprising the Horse Hill- (HH-1) project, in the Weald basin, has been advised that the council will consider the Horse Hill planning application at the scheduled meeting of either August or September.
