Advanced Copper-Molybdenum Exploration Opportunity

The project represents an advanced-stage copper-molybdenum exploration opportunity selected through regional geological screening and investment ranking. Its prospectivity has been supported by historical geological data, structural indicators and a VEDART RS® mineralization potential assessment, with a defined pathway toward further exploration and resource advancement.

Abay Region, Republic of Kazakhstan. The project is located 11 km from the nearest settlement and 36 km from the district center. A paved highway is located 36 km from the project area.

The project is located within the Zharma-Saur Metallogenic Belt, a prospective region associated with commercial concentrations of copper and molybdenum and a number of known deposits. The asset was selected through a multi-stage regional screening process covering approximately 82,000 km² of archived geological data. The screening initially identified 908 mineralization-related objects, which were subsequently assessed and ranked based on geological prospectivity, resource potential, infrastructure accessibility and the economic feasibility of further exploration. The project was identified as one of the priority assets following this assessment. The area is also located close to active copper and gold exploration licences, indicating established interest in the district from subsoil users. The project is being advanced toward the next stage of exploration. A structured exploration programme has been developed, with the objective of progressing the identified resource potential toward higher resource categories and subsequent reserve estimation. The asset is offered to a limited group of specialised market participants for a potential transaction or strategic partnership. Different transaction structures may be considered depending on the stage of the project and the objectives of the potential partner. Additional geological data, the VEDART RS® assessment, exploration programme and preliminary financial and economic model may be provided to interested parties subject to the applicable confidentiality terms. The asset is spatially and genetically associated with the diorite-granodiorite intrusion of the Saur Complex. Mineralization is localized within the endocontact and exocontact zones of porphyritic granodiorites and granodiorite porphyries.

Three mineralized zones have been identified: northern, southern and western. The northern and southern zones are characterised by complex copper-molybdenum mineralization, while molybdenum mineralization predominates in the western zone.

Elevated copper and molybdenum concentrations form arcuate bands. Individual samples have recorded copper grades of up to 1% and molybdenum grades of up to 0.2%.

The estimated resource potential across the identified mineralized zones is 270,000 tonnes of copper and 160,000 tonnes of molybdenum, calculated to a depth of 200 m using a bulk density of 2.6 t/m³.

Previous work on the area includes supplementary geological studies at a scale of 1:200,000, geophysical surveys including gravity and airborne magnetic surveys, geochemical surveys including lithogeochemical studies, ground geological traverses, test pits and trenching, as well as prospecting and exploration drilling.
