WellCAD has become a well-recognized and trusted software used by the world’s leading Oil & Gas, Mining and Environmental companies, consultants, research institutions and government agencies. It brings the subsurface to life with an easily comprehensible way to acquire, display and interpret core, laboratory and borehole geophysical, imaging and geology data. WellCAD handles the entire data loading, log editing, analysis and presentation workflow for drilling, wellsite, core and logging data independent of the industry sector. The modular architecture of WellCAD allows users to easily activate advanced modules to build a package tailored to their requirements and makes it an attractive solution for small scale companies as well as large multinational corporations.

Downhole probes are designed to stand up to the harshest borehole environments. The Quick Link (QL) series of downhole logging probes features fast telemetry and flexibility, with probe subs that can be combined in custom configurations to acquire more data in a single logging pass. The QL40 probe line is designed for slimhole geophysical applications with tool diameters between 40mm-50mm (1.6″-2″), rated to temperatures of 70°C (158°F) and pressures of 200 bar (2900 psi). The QL43 probe line has been designed for higher temperatures and pressures, with diameters of 43mm (1 11/16″), available rated to 125°C (257°F) and 170°C (338°F) and withstanding pressures of 700 bar (10160 psi). The QL85 has been designed for high temperature/high pressure geothermal applications in cooperation with Sandia National Laboratories, with tool diameters of 85mm (3 3/8″) standing up against temperatures of 300°C (572°F) at pressures exceeding 1400 bar (20305 psi).

Services include rental of logging equipment, data acquisition systems and winches maintained in Europe, Australia, the US and Canada. Technical support assists with identifying and troubleshooting problems, addressing workflow and general usage questions, guiding users to apply useful parameters, and resolving issues during installation, upgrades and licensing activities. Repair and maintenance estimates are provided free of charge, with the company understanding the economic implications of equipment downtime and committed to repairing and returning equipment as soon as possible.
