Levert is a personnel staffing and recruitment company serving the mining sector. Richard Levert is president of the company, inspired by his father Wilfred Levert, who launched an electrical business in Sudbury, Ontario in 1957. Richard discovered a niche in the market for providing reliable, skilled workers to fill gaps felt by employers in the mining industry, launching a personnel agency that expanded geographically and into other sectors.

The company is comprised of three divisions: Levert Personnel Resources Inc., Levert Personnel Resources (Eastern) Inc., and Ressources de Personnel Levert (Qc) Inc. Levert provides clients with qualified, highly skilled employees for long-term and short-term contingency needs. Services include sourcing quality candidates, screening resumes, interviewing, reference-checking and testing. Levert thoroughly trains employees and assists them with building a dossier of certifications. The company provides complete payroll services, including processing and remitting all government source deductions.

Health and safety is a top priority. Levert works with training partners including NORCAT (Ontario), Memorial University (Eastern Canada) and Falck Safety Services to ensure employees receive appropriate specialized training and certifications. In-house, job site and online safety training includes WHMIS 2015, Electrical Safety Awareness, Young Worker Safety Awareness, Lock and Tag Awareness, Asbestos Awareness, Traffic Control Awareness, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Respiratory Protection Awareness, Confined Space Training (Level 1-Entry and Awareness; Level 2-Rescue; Level 3-Planning and Coordination), Ladder Safety Awareness, and Fall Arrest Awareness. Levert can provide customized client-specific safety training programs. All employees, management and client operations must work within provincial guidelines, with regular audits and monitoring of safety performance.
