Turra Gold property is located 30km south of Quesnel, B.C. Canada. The Tuura property has the potential for the discovery of bonanza grade epithermal to mesothermal gold veins or a porphyry style bulk tonnage gold deposit. The Tuura Gold property is available for option.

The Property consists of twelve BCMTO mineral tenures covering 5,679ha, owned by John A. Chapman (50%) and Gerald G. Carlson on behalf of KGE Management Ltd. (50%). The Property is available for Option. The Owners recommend the next phase of exploration should include heavy mineral sampling in all creek drainages, followed by soil geochemical surveys in favourable drainages – targeting gold pathfinder elements such as arsenic, antimony, bismuth and mercury, as well as base and precious metals. Ground geophysics (IP and Magnetics) may also assist in defining drill targets. Success contingent trenching and drilling should follow.

Prospector Harvey Tuura carried out a regional program of panning for gold on many of the creeks along the west side of the Fraser River south of Quesnel. Other than the creek draining the Tuura Claims (Axel Creek), the only other gold-bearing creeks were those with known gold mineralization. In 1991, under the direction of geologist Alex Burton, Mr. Tuura’s results were confirmed through a series of samples collected with a suction dredge. Although further work was recommended in Mr. Burton’s report (B.C. MapPlace Property File: 821847), no additional exploration has been reported on the claim group. Mr. Tuura’s claims were allowed to lapse and the property was re-staked in May, 2011, by the current owners.

Outcrop exposure on the Property is poor and restricted to creeks and ridges. According to the Burton report, the Property is underlain in part by older rocks including Permian deep water sediments and basalt overlain by Middle Jurassic Hazelton Group sediments. According to BC Geological Survey mapping, most of the property is underlain by Eocene to Oligocene Endako Group undivided volcanic rocks. Younger Miocene to Pliocene basaltic volcanics and related sediments occur just to the south and east of the claim group. A granitic intrusion of unknown age, described as a biotite quartz diorite to granodiorite in the assessment report, is shown possibly extending into the southeast corner of the claim block.The Property is located adjacent to the Chilcotin plateau, in an area with potential for both porphyry and epithermal to mesothermal style mineralization. The Blackwater-Davidson property is located 150 km to the west and Amarc’s new Newton discovery is approximately 120 km to the southwest. The Gibraltar and Mt. Polley porphyry mines are located 35 km south and 75 km east, respectively, while the Prosperity porphyry deposit is 150 km south. Mineralization discovered to date includes placer gold collected from the main creek and several tributaries (see maps following). Under a hand lens, the gold was observed to be fresh with hackly edges, suggesting that the gold particles had not traveled far from their bedrock source.
