47 claims, Active 10 year license. Currently in production at 200 cubic yards per hour, Gold values range from 1 oz per 80 cubic yards to 130 cubic yards. easy to mine wide valley gentle slopping creek with lots of water for multiple operations.

Location and Access

Located 120km south from Dawson City Yukon with good road access.

Description

10 year licence, expiry is 3034. There are 47 claims with 43 virgin claims, mining is currently being done across the whole valley floor from side to side with very even and consistent gold values. Estimated gold reserves are in excess of 50,000 ounces.

Geology

About 5 feet of black muck is being removed along with approximately 10 feet of gravels in order to expose the gold bearing gravels. Depth to bedrock varies between 20-25 feet on the upper claims and 30 to 45 ft on the lower claims. Gold is assaying at 78% pure and ranges from fine gold up to 8 gram nuggets.

History

Lots of hand mining from the early 1900s in the shallow gravels on the upper reaches of the creek.
Historical gold production records show that over 18,000 ounces was taken from this creek in the 1980s. (see photos of that operation)
