Flying Cloud: Historical USGS estimate of 25,000 tons of tactite in the main ore body, said to average 0.5% WO₃ and identified another area that could expand that estimate. USGS geologists described the ground as “probably the most promising tungsten claims of the district.” Sampling in 1982 returned tungsten values of 0.05-0.10% across eight samples, with a screened high-grade fraction assaying 0.25%, alongside silver values. Dixon:Tungsten-bearing manganese prospect examined and mapped by the U.S. Geological Survey. Samples collected by the Superintendent of Rare Metals Corp. averaged about 0.7% WO₃ (published USGS assays of two samples ran 0.21 and 0.39% WO₃ with 11.57% and 24.78% MnO), and the main mineralized zone crops out for 60 feet at an average width of 15 feet, estimated to average at least 10% tungsten-bearing manganese oxides. A historical reserve of about 1,000 tons at 10%+ oxides was estimated between the upper adit and surface, with a possible further 250 tons at 20% oxides above the lower adit, and the USGS noted that exploration at greater depth might develop a larger reserve of about the same grade.

The Coos Tungsten project is located on a ridge between the Morris claims and Chidago Flat within the Chidago Mining District of the Benton Range, Mono County, California. It lies approximately 11 miles (17.9 km) south-southwest of the town of Benton.

The Flying Cloud project, historically the Oddie and Siri Giovanni claims, is located on the crest of a ridge about 7 miles south of Hawthorne, Mineral County, Nevada, at an elevation of about 7,600 feet.

The Dixon Tungsten project is located approximately 8 miles east of Carson City, Nevada.
