The Golden Messenger mine consists of 19 unpatented lode mining claims, located in the York Mining District approximately 21 miles NE of Helena Montana. The site is on US Forest Service land and easily accessible with well maintained roads. 380 acres unpatented US Forest Service Claims plus an additional 70 acres of patented claims are available and can be acquired for the mill site, equipment and maintenance yard, and additional ore reserves.
Description
Golden Messenger has been exhaustively tested by a wide range of independent professional geologists and large corporate mineral interests. Extensive documentation is available for review, and testing clearly justifies the ore reserve calculations showing 42,037,520 tons of ore containing 7,521,251 ounces of gold with a value of $10.9 Billion at $1,450 per ounce.
The average recoverable ore value is $135 per ton at $900 per ounce. Average mining costs are $10, milling costs $20, smelting and refining costs $3, environmental and reclamation costs $5, and contingency and other overhead costs $2. This leaves an average net profit of $95 per ton.
At 200 tons per hour, the operation should yield a net profit $152,000 per 8 hour shift at $900 per ounce. A double shift operation should yield a net profit of $304,000 per day. Running the double shift 24 days per month should yield a net profit of $7,296,000 per month. Assuming about 11 months of actual operation, the annual net profit should be $80,256,000.
Crushing, milling and smelting should be done offsite on a 70 acre patented site available for sale. Much of the gold is all expected to be free milling gold, meaning that it can be released by grinding and recovered by advanced centrifugal and ultra high frequency vibration concentration. The remainder will be separated out using a bromine or similar based flotation system. No cyanide is required.
The permit jurisdiction for the unpatented claims is the US Forest Service. A Plan of Operations and NEPA analysis are required. There are no anticipated impediments to USFS permitting, although open pit with cyanide heap leach mining is no longer allowed in Montana. There is no law that prohibits small or modest size surface mining. Private property milling will vastly simplify Forest Service land permitting. In essence, the permit will be to extract and haul ore. Patented site permitting is a minimal process and should be complete by the time the infrastructure is built out and equipment acquisition is complete. Mining can commence on the patented ground while the USFS permits are in the process of completion.
