KGHM to book $1.4bn charge on international assets

Poland-based base metals producer KGHM expects to book a noncash write-down of $1.4-billion on its international assets for the full-year 2016.
The company said Tuesday it has completed major impairment tests on its foreign assets, resulting in a noncash, after-tax amount of $1.24-billion reflected on its consolidated balance sheet.
