(IDEX Online News) – The Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association recently elected Ashok Sancheti of Pioneer Gems as its new president for 2016.
Rakesh Barmecha of Niru NY Ltd. was elected to the post of vice president, Jay Mehta of Amikam as secretary, Nirav Doshi of Jewelex NY Ltd. as treasurer and Prateek Nigram of Oriental Gemco NY, Inc. as joint secretary.
In addition, the following were elected as directors: Shailesh Jhalani (Prompt Gem Imptrs, Inc.); Alok Mehta (IDD); Atit Mehta (Atit Diamond Corp); Rajeev Pandya (Ashi LLC); Neeraj Rawat (Rawat Gems); Neil Savalia (Neil Savalia, Inc.); Mehul Shah (Shivani Gems, Inc.); Rayaz Takat (Takat Gems USA, Inc.) and Nilesh Sheth (Nice Diamonds).
The Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association is a not-for-profit organization comprising of diamantaires, colored stone dealers and jewelry manufacturers from India based in the US.
