Position Description:

Responsibilities:

• Must provide a strong contribution to the site safety culture and programs including encouraging and ensuring others do the same
• Ability to complete various full-cycle mining activities within the underground operations group
• Ability to operate single and/or double boom jumbos, bolters, shotcrete sprayers, explosives equipment and road headers
• Ability to operate support equipment such as haul trucks, loaders, jammers and water trucks
• Other work activities may include working in the bull gang, nipping, remix operation
• Perform other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

• Three- Five (3-5) years underground mining experience preferred

• Proven track record with full-cycle mining to include but not limited to; drilling, blasting, haulage/backfill and ground support installation including shotcrete preferred

• Ability to work safely and effectively in an underground mining environment required

• Solid work history preferred

• Proactive safety and environmental track record required

• Ability to communicate with all mine operations personnel required

• Ability to work within a team environment, work closely with peers at all levels with a professional attitude required

• Ability to perform the essential functions of this position required
