Customers from around the world recently gathered at Zoomlion HQ in Changsha, Hunan Province to witness the launch of new earthmoving and mining machinery products and experience its smart mining solutions. After on-site demonstrations, global clients signed overseas orders totalling RMB 1.1 billion (today just under US$160 million).

At the event, Zoomlion also unveiled its new-generation 136 t class hybrid mining dump truck, the ZTE240HEV, featuring a high-power engine and large-capacity battery, it says achieving a 15% increase in power, 10% higher transport efficiency, and over 12% comprehensive energy savings. “Its integrated high-strength frame and multi-mode braking system support stable operation in complex mining conditions.”

Zoomlion also presented its full stack, self-developed smart mining solutions, enabling automated mining-loading-hauling-dumping operations, including 120 millisecond low-latency remote excavator control, multi mining truck intelligent obstacle avoidance, and efficient parking in narrow areas, “allowing customers to intuitively feel the dual innovation of safety and efficiency brought about by intelligent upgrades.”

The smart mine platform integrates 3D digital twin technology, equipment health monitoring and operational statistics realising Zoomlion says the visualisation, traceability and control of the whole process of a mine operation, “openning up a new path for industry customers to reduce costs and increase efficiency.”

Also present at the event was its ZTE520, the world’s largest hybrid electric drive mining dump truck, which was launched in October 2025 and Zoomlion says is engineered for maximum efficiency and reliability. It has a rated payload of 300 t and a dump body capacity of 210 m³.
