Gold miner Silver Lake Resources was hoping to develop a 45 000 oz/y underground operation at its Maxwells project, in the Mount Monger region, with the company saying that a recent A$1.4-million exploration drill programme had revealed promising results.
The company said on Friday that the most recent 12 diamond drill holes at Maxwells had all intersected visible gold.
