The outcropping volume exceeds 70 million tons and has the potential for the production of cement and lime. The logistics associated with the field is exceptional. It is located just 1 km away from the Ferrovia Centro Atlântica (FCA) and 3.5 km from BR-135, which connects Belo Horizonte to Montes Claros. The deposit is located outside conservation areas, Indian reservations, parks and areas with caves. The limestone is calcitic, with low MgO grade. Analyses carried out on samples of the deposit obtained the following results: - Sample 01: CaO-52.43%; MgO-0.67%; SiO2-3.43%; Fe2O3-0.41%; Al2O3-1.09. - Sample 02: CaO-53.56%; MgO-0.52%; SiO2-1.26%; Fe2O3-0.20%; Al2O3-1.32. - Sample 03: CaO-54.51%; MgO-0.60%; SiO2-1.06%; Fe2O3-0.18%; Al2O3-0.29. - Sample 04: CaO-53.72%; MgO-0.79%; SiO2-1.06%; Fe2O3-0.22%; Al2O3-0.87. In addition, it was obtained for all samples: P2O5 < 0.02 and S < 0.01.
