The Puskuta Gold Project consists of two claim groups located in Hawkins and Walls Twps, south of the town of Hearst in north-central Ontario. The Properties are road accessible and located 80 km south of the Trans Canada highway 11.

The Hawkins Property is comprised of four contiguous staked claims covering 928 ha. The Walls Property is comprised of seven contiguous staked claims covering 1,792 ha. The properties are approximately 210 km west of Timmins, 140 km east-northeast of Hemlo, and 80 km south-southwest of Hearst, Ontario. The Hawkins Property is at Lat 48o 58’ 10”N, Long 84o 11’ 45”W; UTM WGS84 Zone 16U 705225mE 5427856 mN; NTS 52H 6/11. The Walls Property is 26 km west of the Hawkins Property at Lat 48o 58’ 30” N, Long 83o 50’ 02” W; UTM 17U 292638 mE 5428543 mN.

The l km wide Puskuta Lake Shear Zone is a steeply dipping, dextral, transcurrent structure that extends through the Hawkins and Walls Properties. This shear zone is potentially a continuation of the Destor Porcupine fault zone on the west side of the Kapuskasing structure. In Hawkins Township, the gold showings occur in quartz veins at the strongly sheared contact between mafic metavolcanic rocks and a tonalite intrusion. Gold mineralization is associated with pyritic, silicified sericitic schists.

The Hawkins property is centered on the Goldfield’s showing discovered in 1989. Channel sample assays in 1989 included: 1.31 oz./ton over 3 ft.; 0.74 oz./ton over 5 ft.; 0.42 oz./ton over 2 ft.; 0.40 oz./ton over2 ft.; 0.21 oz./ton over 5 ft.; 0.11 oz./ton over 2 ft. The Johnstone-Barnes occurrence discovered in the 1920’s is located at western end of the Hawkins property. The surface value reported at this showing is 0.24 oz./t over 35 feet. This occurrence is in amphibolitized mafic metavolcanics. The Walls Property contains the Amax (1980) showing where a diamond drill hole designed to test a conductor returned 0.175 Oz./ton Gold over 4.6 feet.

The Puskuta Gold Project is focussed on the potential for discovery of Hemlo-type gold deposits. The area is currently being flown by an Ontario Government airborne magnetic-electromagnetic geophysical survey to be released in late 2014. These properties target proposed a correlation of major Archean shear zones across the central Superior province. In particular, the Properties target the extensions of the major gold mineralizing Destor-Porcupine deformation zone (Timmins gold camp) and the Larder-Cadillac deformation zone (Kirkland Lake gold camp) in north-central Ontario, west of the Proterozoic Kapuskasing uplift.
