The Southern African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (SAIMM) will on Thursday welcome Professor Cuthbert Musingwini as its president. Musingwini, who is currently the University of Witwatersrand School of Mining and Engineering head, started his career as a graduate trainee with Lonrho Zimbabwe’s Independence Gold Mining in 1991.
