Located on the border of Manitoba and Saskatchewan Flin Flon is a town of 6,000 people and is constantly growing. Flin Flon is known for it’s beautiful ice fishing lakes, outdoor activities, and SJHL junior hockey team Flin Flon Bombers. If you are an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys working either above ground or underground in Canadian mining, this is the position for you.

Reporting to the maintenance supervisor you will be responsible for PM repairs, complete tear downs and rebuilds, as well as alignments and installations. As a Journeyman millwright you will be working on shakers, crushers, sag mills, ball mills, conveyors, and more related to the mining industry. The shift worked as Millwright varies and you will be working either a 4 on 4 off rotation or a 7 on 7 off rotation. The camp at the mine is also paid for provided by the company.

The starting wage as a Journeyman Millwright is $34.27 plus night shift premiums, weekend premiums, profit sharing, snow lake premiums, and a mine bonus. There is re-location coverage as well up to $5000 for moving to Flin Flon.
