The concession area is located within the Mozambique Belt near Lake Niassa in the Niassa province of Mozambique. Approx 200 Km NW of capital town Lichinga on Metangula - Cabue road, just 20km SE of lake town Cabue.

The area under investigation is bounded by the Ponta Messuli Complex on the West, of the Lower to middle Proterozoic and Precambrian age occupied by Katangulana group of Supracrustals age supposedly. The Cobue Group is comprises of Schist, Metamorphic rocks, mainly Meta-arkose sometimes with micro Conglomerate, known for gold mineralisation in the Niassa gold belt.

The complex is known to be covered by the Migmatitic Gneiss of Supracrustal origin containing cordierite and sillimanite on the Northern part, whereas the Southern part of the Ponta Messuli Complex is dominated by Augen Gneiss. There is a sharp contact between the Upper Karoo to the East, and the Middle to Upper Proterozoic with Ultramylonite and Panafrican Phyllonite in which Post Panafricanos of the Txitonga Group is bounded by the Ponta Messuli Complex to the West.

Historically former Russian geologist have explored the area for kimberlitic intrusive. Though we did not get the geological report pertaining to former USSR geological findings, but the kimberlitic intrusives sills area shown in the geological map 1:50,000 in the southern part of the tenement area.

During 2007-9, Omega Corp (ASX listed) has explored the entire Northern part of Mozambique and surrounding countries for radioactive minerals, and did airborne geophysical survey, the tenement area have shown potential for REE, W and Au, hence warrants detail exploration.

Primary Gold occurs in Quartz veins in low-grade Meta-sedimentary rocks and associated mafic Dykes of the assumed Neoproterozoic Txitonga Group. The veins are associated with North to South and or North-East to South-West trending shear zones of probable Ordovician age.

The kimberlite of the Maniamba graben recognized within the Lilonga, Fubue formations and along the Beaufort rocks towards the Southern side bounded to the concession area. Almost 5 locations have been identified to have kimberlites and will be of great potential if they are found to be diamond-bearing.
