GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include: The successful candidate will prepare ore samples, sample prep, process samples and exploration samples; perform work in fire assay and wet laboratory; and be responsible for operation of analytical instrumentation; perform other duties as assigned.

SELECTION CRITERIA

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:

• Minimum one (1) to two (2) years experience in laboratory environment preferred
• Ability to carry fifty (50) pounds at knee heights, distances up to 100 feet required
• Familiarity with chemicals and laboratory procedures preferred
• Proven safety and attendance record required
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize a heavy workload required
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers in a team environment required
• Knowledge of state and federal health and safety regulations preferred
• Experience with computer operations required
• Ability to perform the essential functions of this position required
