A leading consulting engineer specialising in building and infrastructure design, management consulting and specialist technical services is looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will become an integral part of their mechanical building services department with growth opportunities available at every turn.

Responsibilities:

• Provide mechanical design for a range of projects
• Responsible for managing project team and ensuring work is delivered on time and on budget
• Deliver system design drawings and calculations and prepare drawings review
• Work directly with clients and other professionals with minimal supervision
• Create project reports and communication Responsible for project and team administrative duties
• Responsible for developing, training and coordinating work of junior staff
• Work closely with other professionals and be able to co-ordinate work from engineers from other departments

Requirements: Qualification and Skill Minimum

• 3 – 5 years professional experience within a building services consulting environment
• BEng / BSc / BTech in Mechanical Engineering – Professional registration with ECSA is advantageous (PREng / PRTech)
• Experience with Quality Assurance Standards
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work within a team and independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
