Who are you?

You are a professional with five years of mine site experience. You have the ability to work with mine planning team and project study processes and also have the practical background to know what can actually be achieved. To be successful, this role requires:

  • A degree qualified Mining Engineer and be in the process or already attained the P. Eng status in British Columbia
  • Experience in planning, production and personnel management
  • Experience with scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies
  • The ability to work with team members or independently
  • Analytical and reporting skills
  • Sharp project management skills
  • A proven technical track record to work on projects
  • Technical report writing to industry standards
  • Previous experience in surface mining project work
  • Mine optimisation skills
  • Experience in estimation of ore reserves
  • Experience to assist in systems development and identification for improvement

This is a permanent, full-time position with a potential salary of $90,000-120,000 depending on experience with extended health care benefits of 80% coverage.
