Position Description:

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Open Pit Operations Supervisor, the Open Pit Haul Truck Operator is responsible for the following:

• Safely and effectively operate 300 & 400 ton electric haul trucks
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• A basic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and functions of haul trucks preferred
• Ability to communicate with all Mine Operations personnel required
• Ability to work with minimal supervision required
• Satisfactory safety, performance, and attendance record required
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job required
• Experience operating 300-ton haul-trucks preferred

Barrick Nevada is an integrated gold mining operation that combines the Cortez and Goldstrike properties in Nevada, employing a total of 3,000 employees and 800 contractors.
