GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include: The successful candidate will safely operate mobile cranes in an open pit mining environment, following Barrick’s Critical Lift Policy; work with maintenance to ensure the equipment is maintained/repaired; perform other duties as assigned.

SELECTION CRITERIA

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:

• Five (5) years’ experience in operating mobile cranes in commercial, industrial or mining environmentspreferred
• Two (2) years’ experience operating/maintaining mobile heavy equipment to include shovels and drillspreferred
• Crane certifications, formal training in the mechanical or electrical trades preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to safely operate equipment in a fast-paced, demanding environment required
• Ability to understand follow work standards and procedures and identify improvement to these standards when appropriate required
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions required
• Ability to perform the essential duties of this position to include lifting 50 pounds with our without reasonable accommodations required
• Availability to work nights and weekends, as needed required
