Who are you?

You are a seasoned professional with extensive mine site experience. You have the ability to lead a mine planning team and project study processes and also have the practical background to know what can actually be achieved. To be successful, this role requires:

• A degree qualified Principal Mining Engineer
• A track record in planning, production and personnel management
• The ability to allocate work to team members
• Analytical and reporting skills to drive team performance
• The skills to assist in team member development and coaching
• Sound skills in business development and marketing
• The ability to development proposals and tenders
• Sharp project management skills
• Peer review and technical guidance
• A proven technical track record to work on projects
• Technical report writing to industry standards
• Previous experience in surface mining project work
• Mine optimisation skills
• Experience in estimation of ore reserves
• Experience to assist in team member recruitment
• Experience to assist in systems development and identification for improvement
