GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include: The successful candidate will manage, coach, lead, and mentor teams engaged in TCM and mill maintenance to ensure safe, environmentally sound, efficient production; direct supervision/support of electricians working day and rotating shifts maintaining Goldstrike’s wet milling circuit and TCM facility; provide training for technicians; supervise the maintenance of various circuits and work to develop a safe and productive crew; safely and effectively perform preventive maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of power distribution centers, switchgear, motors and controls, process controls and instrumentation; and perform other duties as assigned. (Must be willing to work shifts, overtime and callouts)
SELECTION CRITERIA
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:
• Minimum two (2) years of experience performing electrical and instrumentation duties required (may substitute two (2) years of trade school or equivalent training for two (2) years of the required experience)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Good safety record and ability to work with various safety programs required
• Electrical Engineering or vocational degree preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot electrical/instrumentation circuits required
• Some experience with programmable logic controls (PLC), troubleshooting and programming as well as experience with variable frequency drives preferred
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job required
• Teamwork, leadership and good communication skills required
