Position Description:

Barrick is looking for a Resource Development Geologist to join the Mine Geology and Resource Growth team.

Responsibilities:

• The Resource Geologist will play a key role in the geologic interpretation and statistical analysis of mineral deposits at Cortez.

• An emphasis will be placed on 3D computer modeling of mineralized zones and controlling geologic features and ultimately aiding in the estimation of gold resources.

• The candidate will work with site mine geology, exploration, and engineering groups to aid in drill planning, data analysis, reconciliation, and other duties as necessary.

• There will be exposure to a wide variety of geologic modeling, data analysis, and grade estimation scenarios with opportunities for increased responsibilities and career growth.

Barrick Nevada is an integrated gold mining operation that combines the Cortez and Goldstrike properties in Nevada, employing a total of 3,000 employees and 800 contractors. The operation utilizes both open pit and underground mining methods with Autoclave and Roaster processing facilities at Goldstrike and Milling/Heap Leaching facilities at Cortez.
