GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include: The successful candidate will assist with functions and duties of the Safety, Health and Security department. Security duties include: perform mine site patrols; administer process for key, lock and access control; maintain fire extinguisher inspections; assist with emergency responses to site; maintain compliance to Gold Security Standard and maintain safety and security inventories throughout the site; perform other duties as assigned.

SELECTION CRITERIA

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:

• Minimum one (1) year experience in mining or related Security experience preferred
• Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions and to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people required
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, peers and management in a team environment required
• Ability to maintain confidentiality required
• Excellent safety and attendance record required
