I am currently recruiting for a Underground Mine Electrical Foreman Job opportunity for my client to be based in Manitoba. As the Underground Mine Electrical Foreman you will be responsible for developing daily, weekly, monthly and longer term maintenance plans. You will be integral in the development of the maintenance budgets and the identification of opportunities for capital improvements. You will manage inventory levels and warehousing for maintenance supplies. You will also provide guidance and coaching to trades professionals
To be considered for this job opportunity, you will have 3 – 5 years of proven supervisory experience and at least part of this must have been working within an underground mine environment. You will be responsible for supervising electrical crews engaged in maintenance and project work. You will have, as a minimum, post-secondary education in a technical field as well as a Red Seal Electrician certification. You will also be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to safety. Knowledge of an electronic based maintenance program would be considered an asset.
