JSE-listed industrial gases group Afrox signed a contract on Wednesday with alternative energy company Renergen for the commercialisation of a helium deposit, located near the Free State town of Virginia. Afrox officially signed the deal with TETRA 4, a subsidiary of AltX-listed Renergen, which recently acquired the 187 000 ha field in a deal valued at R650-million.
