BRUNSWICK, OH–(Marketwired – June 16, 2016) – O2 Investment Partners announced today that its portfolio company Alpha Sintered Metals (www.alphasintered.com) has acquired Precision Made Products (“PMP”), headquartered in Brunswick, Ohio. The Alpha Sintered Metals management team is excited to partner with PMP founder and CEO, Majid Daneshvar, and the PMP team to leverage their proprietary technology and deep expertise in metal injection molding (“MIM”). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2002, PMP is a state of the art MIM business with CNC machining capability serving the medical, aerospace, and firearms markets. Due to certain proprietary elements of its MIM manufacturing process, PMP has significantly shortened the de-binding and sintering cycles which creates advantageous product characteristics including low shrinkage rates, better shape stability, and very tight tolerances.
