Anthem United Inc. Increases Private Placement Financing

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA–(Marketwired – Jan. 8, 2016) – Anthem United Inc. (TSX VENTURE:AFY) (“Anthem” or the “Company”) announces that, further to its news release dated December 10, 2015, the Company has increased its non-brokered private placement (the “Private Placement”) financing to CDN$1.0 million from the previously announced CDN$500,000.

The Private Placement consists of the issuance of units of the Company (the “Units”) at a price of CDN$0.24 per Unit with each Unit consisting of one common share of the Company (a “Common Share”) and one-half of one common share purchase warrant of the Company (each whole warrant being a “Warrant”). Each whole Warrant will entitle the holder to acquire one Common Share at a price of CDN$0.35 per Common Share for a period of five years following the date of the closing of the Private Placement.

As previously reported on December 16, 2015, the Company has closed a first tranche of the Private Placement for aggregate gross proceeds of CDN$466,000.

The Company expects to close two additional tranches of the Private Placement by the end of January 2016 to satisfy strong investor demand. Anthem reserves the right to further increase the size of the Private Placement, subject to approval by the TSX Venture Exchange.
