Indian major Coal India Limited (CIL) would seek technological collaboration following a directive by the government to complete long-term hydrological survey across river basins where the miner planned at least two or more mining projects.
The government directive was in the wake of CIL planning for an opencast mine along the Mahan River in the central Indian province of Chhattisgarh, a Coal Ministry official said.
