Fresnillo discloses $18.4m in payments to Mexico

LSE- and Mexican Stock Exchange-listed silver miner Fresnillo this week disclosed payments it had made to governments for 2015, as required under the UK Reports on Payments to Governments Regulation.
The London-based company said it had paid a net total of $18.4-million to the Mexican government, where it operated six mines and four advanced exploration prospects. Fresnillo had paid a total of $23.7-million, less a $6.6-million refund.
