LONGUEUIL, QC–(Marketwired – March 22, 2016) – Highland Copper Company Inc. (TSX VENTURE: HI) (“Highland”) is pleased to announce that the TSX Venture Exchange has consented to the extension of the expiry date of 41,250,000 share purchase warrants originally issued in May 2012 (the “Warrants”) as part of a non-brokered private placement of the Company’s securities. The new expiry date of the Warrants is March 31, 2017. The exercise price of $0.75 remains unchanged.

Warrantholders are advised that replacement Warrant certificates will not be issued and that the original Warrant certificates must be presented to Highland in order to effect the exercise of such Warrants.
