Diamond miner Lucapa has uncovered a 227 carat stone from its Lulo project, in Angola.
The ASX-listed miner said on Monday that the diamond is the second-largest recovered at Lulo to date, behind the 404 carat stone uncovered in February last year, and is the biggest diamond recovered to date from the new XRT large-diamond recovery circuit recently installed.
