Australian mining services company Macmahon Holdings has placed its shares in a trading halt on Thursday ahead of an announcement about the kidnapping of a number of its workers in Nigeria.
Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull on Thursday confirmed the kidnapping of Australian citizens from a worksite in Nigeria and, according to media reports, described the incident as a “very serious criminal assault”.
