Platypus buys lithium player

Junior explorer Platypus Minerals has signed a binding term sheet to acquire lithium developer Lepidico in exchange for 750-million of its own shares.

The unlisted Lepidico holds a number of exploration tenements in Australia and Canada, and has an option over the Lamare project, in Canada, which has a total resource of 32.7-million tonnes, grading 1.56% lithium oxide.
